Go to this site.
Build an account.
Go to the free CCNA streaming broadcast.
That is about 30 hours of free education.
I paid for this class years ago.
It is worth $2000 if you take the class in person.
This will give you a taste of what the technology is about.
The material in this class is the first CISCO exam to earn the CCNA.

This installs on Windows and has a lot of labs. This does CCNA and CCNP and other emulations.
